| I record from my house using Adobe, and I was wondering if anyone knows what exactly to do inorder to get studio quality out of my music

Well, to start out i take it your using an adapter to go from 1/4 to the 1/8th inch connector on the back of your soundcard. That will not do you any justice and will sound like crap. Your going to need something like this: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FireWire410-main.html
to do your recordings some justice.
