Hey guys - check this out, this is an archive of a forum discussion thread back when the original iPod's came out. Definitely worth taking a read and seeing how people bagged them in the beginning...

Thats a step back into time, especialy now as iTunes is now on version 7.0 with a few new fetures, and some more astheticaly pleasing ways to view your tunes rather than looking at lists and lists of songs.

And how much the ipod has come along, is there talks of a new ipod with Wifi stuff on it?

I don't think so. The Microsoft Zune has wi-fi, but I've heard nothing about an Apple iPod with wi-fi.

Yup, no doubt. I think Microsoft really missed the boat with podcasting. Apple didn't, and have capitalized on it beautifully. I listen to more podcasts on my iPod than I do music!

Cheers, Dave.

There's definate rumours for this happening very soon. But personally i don't see as a particularly key feature. But come January 2007 we're set to see the first bigger screen video iPods according to rumour.
