I would like to trade a korg triton rack and trinity expanded rack synthesizer for a used akai mpc 2500 or used mpc 4000 standard model. I would also trade both for a used fantom sound module. Both modules are in excellent condition. I have the original box, disks and manuals for the triton rack.

Picked this up today, but I really have no use for it; I got a good deal on it along with a used guitar I was buying. Everything that I've tried on it seems to work. I gave the keys a good cleaning, they look great. The entire instrument is free of chips or significant damage, it's in very good condition for it's age, I'd rate it an 7 or 8 out of 10. I think the unit has been in storage a couple of years. Some of the screws have rusty heads but it's still put together like a tank. All buttons and keys seem to work fine. No dead pixels in the display that I've seen. I don't have any floppys to test the floppy drive with, but if someone wants to send me a floppy image that will work in it, I can give it a try.

Let me know if you have any questions or if there is any particular functionality you want me to try out; unfortunately I don't really have the expertise to fully test all functionality without some kind of tutorial. :)

It comes with a very nice padded case that is cordura-type nylon on the outside and plush red velvet-like material on the inside. Power cord and original instruction booklet are also included. No pedals or other cables.

This thing is pretty heavy, so please don't forget to factor shipping in to any offer you make.

Please take a look at my new site, I'm trying to compete with some big cable manufacturers, but I make seriously nice sounding mogami cables at a fraction of what those other guys like Monster Cables are charging. I don't blow up the prices so much, I don't like that. We should have the nice cables like the big boys without blowing are budgets to get them. Take a look, I have great copper tipped right angle guitar cables with mogami cable, that you just can't get almost anywhere else! They are nice, starting at like $17 too! I'm going to just have to pump the prices up soon because I think people assume they are junk because they are so cheap, but I just don't have any overhead at all, so I can do this.

Nord and Yamaha

I'm not sure what the BROTHER company (yes, they make that labeling gizmo) was doing in the music business but they produced a little sequencer in the early 90s called the PDC100 and I have one. It should probably be in the "Museum of MIDI Misadventures" but I'll sell it for $100. It has a floppy disk drive and you can make your own sequences (sort of) and save them onto a floppy disk. Too bad it isn't DOS compatible. I'm not sure what the OS is but my PC doesn't recognize it and even Gary Giebler can't make a conversion program for it. But it is cute.
