Im using the pad both as an effect processor and as a controller for Virtual DJ but the lack of buttons and the layout makes this kind of anoying thus im looking for a MIDI mixer.

Basicly my question is, if I connect a MIDI mixer to my Kass Pad, will the signal from the mixer pass through the pad and become MIDI over usb or will the KP3 stop the signal?

I hope that makes sence

Stephen

Advice on portable MIDI players

Hi, I have been mannually programming MIDI songs (using the mouse) through Digital Orchestrator Plus. I love the sounds and would love to just be able to trigger the Yamaha sound engine only and not the groove box pattern sequencer. It seems when I try to use my computer to trigger the thing it automatically starts its own sequencer when certain keys are played..... I'm not new to MIDI but just never took the time to know the nuances of channels and all that.
