Ahh, okay. Well if you're just playing MIDI files in Windows, there is no way to tune that sound module, so what I'm guessing has happened is when the MP3s were recorded, they were recorded out of tune.

It is more likely the MP3s are out of tune, than Windows.

How did you record the MP3s?

Ok. The midi files and mp3s are separate files. I mentioned the mp3s to show that recorded audio plays just fine, but the midi files are flat.

So I'm confused - do you have the same songs in MIDI, MP3 and WAV files and the latter two are in tune, but the MIDI files are out?

Well, in Windows Media player the midi files are still flat, but mp3 and waves are all fine, so the problem appears to be with only midi files from programs such as Band in a Box and Finale, or even if I save them to .mid and play them in WMP, they're still flat. I'm not exactly sure what a sound generator box is, so I'll assume I'm not running one.

Hi there:

Are you saying that your computer is outputting via standard Windows Media Player (if you're running Windows) notes that are flat? Or are you driving a sound generator box that is out?

Hi! My midi on my computer is flat, like 30cents or more. I've been searching around the web a lot and can't find an answer. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to fix it, or if there's a program to raise the pitch. Thanks!
