I have learned that the best type of home studio for me is a midi studio because it is cheaper then the other ways of making music. I want to buy a computer for this purpose that is not too expensive. I want to purchuse it from the dell.co.uk. What computer do you think is good for this purpose? What mic is good to buy that is able to record crystal clear vocals digitally? I used a bad microphone and recorded my voice on the windows record playerand when I played it back I heard a buzing noise accompanied with the vocals. What is this. What is a sequencer?

What do equipment do I need to make good strong beats. My musical fortay is rnb/hip hop/crunk/bass/electronic. I want to make good quality music. Money is not a worry for me? So any sugestion that might be expensive are welcome. What is a drum machine?

Gear lists and technology don't mean anything..

If you don't have the experience to back the impressive list of gear on your recording studios website, you're wasting your time and the time of any potential clients you may have. You might have the newest desk on the market spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, but if you don't know how to use it or don't have properly trained ears, what's the point? How can a studio running 24 tracks of digital audio through a 20something year old SoundTracs desk win so many awards and gain so much recognition without advirtising or spamming? E-X-P-E-R-I-E-N-C-E. It is that simple. Try over 40 years of it and 2 generations of musicians!

If you live in the Central New York area and want to have a recording done right, check out Hobin Studios. Chances are, if you're in the area you've heard the name. Now find out why Hobin Studios has the most repeat customers and the most word-of-mouth referrals anywhere! And if you're one that needs to have a gear list, we'd be happy to give you an idea. Our setup is always changing... how else are we going to back our music addictions!?

WHOS GOT THE BEST TIPS??????

so i make beats on fl, been doin it for about a lil over 2 years now jus messin with the demo and some sounds, but anyways i was wondering if i could get some tips on how i could go about making a lil home studio, basically wanting to know good room size/what kinda comp and software or hardware i should start out with/ speakers and positioning/ sound muffling ideas/ bassically wanna know who can sum it up the best, cost ist really an issue cuz whatever i need i will get and progress with overtime, so hit me back and let me know, thanks

Ounces @ www.soundclick.com

Currently Building a Studio

Im in the process of building a studio in a small sw michigan town.
