Hi again everyone. I'm rather new to editing and live use of midi files. Can someone share with me how to cut & paste sections. Some of my songs are way to short and I'd like to repeat say an A & B section to lengthen the song. I'm using Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 for editing.

Thanks for you help.

I don't know if you've received an answer elsewhere, but in Home Studion all you need to do is go to the measure numbers and click and drag to highlite the measures you want. Then you can either menu or right-click the choices for editing - cutting and pasting. Only my first day, but I hope this helps future searchers if it's too late for you.

Thanks for listening, Brahmb.

I don't know cakewalk but in pro tools you change the midi track view to regions and then you can copy, paste, etc. just like you can an audio region.
Perhaps it's the same with cakewalk.
